Serving Through Sports: Pickleball & Golf for a Cause
Over 100 participants, sponsors, and supporters gathered for the 2nd Annual Pickleball Tournament on April 6, 2024, to rally behind a meaningful mission: improving behavioral health for children and teens receiving care at INTEGRIS Mental Health Spencer. The high-energy day raised a record-breaking $27,690, which will directly benefit every young person in treatment—providing vital resources for their emotional, physical, educational, and social well-being.
Just two months later, 220 golfers teed off at Oak Tree Country Club for the 37th Annual Golf Classic on June 17, 2024. The event raised $215,733 to support INTEGRIS Health Children’s at Baptist Medical Center. These funds are being used to upgrade equipment and enhance the hospital experience for pediatric patients and their families. The goal: compassionate care that meets the unique needs of Oklahoma’s youngest patients at every step of their journey.
Gala Giving: Mental Health in Focus
Last September, more than 700 guests gathered for the 24th Annual INTEGRIS Health Gala, raising $768,478 to support mental health services. These funds are already making a tangible difference: telepsychiatry carts—enabled by donor support—have been placed at both INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center and INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center. Since January 2024, more than 500 patients in crisis have used these carts to consult virtually with psychiatric specialists and begin treatment faster.
Looking ahead, donor generosity is helping launch the Digital Care Continuum, a new virtual mental health initiative rolling out this fall. Patients will soon have access to 24/7 emergency resources, self-guided support, and online coaching for mental wellness—removing barriers and expanding access to care statewide.
Special thanks to the Volunteer Auxiliary at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center for purchasing four telepsych carts, enabling more patients to access timely, compassionate care from anywhere.
