Q3 FY2026 Impact Report: Your Compassion in Action from January to March 2026

As the new year began, your generosity continued to transform lives across Oklahoma.

Donors funded a $600,000+ project at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center to place new recliners throughout the hospital, offering greater comfort and dignity to patients and a smoother workflow for caregivers.

During the third quarter of fiscal year 2026 — January through March 2026 — the INTEGRIS Health Foundation invested $2,233,524 in health care projects that brought hope, healing, and dignity to patients facing some of life's greatest challenges.

This quarter, your donations addressed critical needs ranging from life-saving emergency infrastructure to intimate end-of-life care, from newborn safety to addiction recovery, from cancer patient support to the everyday comforts that make a hospital feel less frightening. Each project reflected your belief that every person deserves access to compassionate, excellent health care — regardless of their financial circumstances.

When Seconds Count: Redesigning Emergency Response

In a medical emergency, the difference between life and death can be measured in minutes — or less. This quarter, your support funded one of the most consequential infrastructure investments in INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center's recent history: planning and design for relocating its helipad, moving it closer to the Emergency Department.

This $600,000 investment isn't just a construction project. It's a commitment to every critically injured patient who will arrive by air in the years ahead — the trauma victim, the stroke patient, the cardiac arrest survivor. By shortening the distance between the landing pad and the trauma bay, your gift will shorten response times and improve survival odds for life-threatening emergencies for years to come.

Alongside that investment, you funded infection-resistant clinical surface upgrades at Baptist Medical Center, reducing infection risk across patient care areas and creating safer, cleaner environments that support faster recoveries and less stress for the care teams working in them every day.

A Place to Rest and Heal: Reimagining Patient Spaces

Healing takes time, and the spaces where patients and families wait, rest, and recover matter more than we often acknowledge. This quarter, your giving transformed patient environments across multiple INTEGRIS Health facilities, benefiting thousands of people for years to come.

At Baptist Medical Center, a hospital-wide recliner replacement project — totaling $607,463 — brought new recliners to units throughout the building. For patients, this means greater comfort and dignity. For caregivers, it means smoother workflows as they support patients with rest, mobility, and the gradual work of recovery.

At INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center, your support funded a Women's Center Furniture Refresh and broad patient and family furniture upgrades totaling more than half a million dollars. Fresh, thoughtfully chosen furnishings create a more welcoming, healing environment — for the patient laboring through the night, the spouse keeping vigil, the family member catching a few hours of sleep in a recliner beside a hospital bed.

And across facilities, Joy Cart programs were stocked with puzzles, blankets, and small comforts that bring warmth and moments of normalcy to patients during long, uncertain hospital stays. These small gestures matter enormously to people facing frightening diagnoses and painful treatments.

For the Smallest Patients and the Mothers Who Love Them

Welcoming a new life is one of the most profound experiences a family can share — and the quality of care mothers and newborns receive in those early hours and days shapes health outcomes that last a lifetime. This quarter, you made meaningful investments in maternal and newborn care across Oklahoma.

New lactation equipment and expanded lactation support programs were funded at Baptist Medical Center and Southwest Medical Center, ensuring nursing mothers have the tools and support they need to bond with and nourish their babies even when medical circumstances create unexpected separation. A new Lactation Pod was installed at INTEGRIS Health Canadian Valley Hospital, creating a private, dignified space for nursing mothers to connect with their newborns with comfort and privacy.

Fetal monitoring equipment was funded at multiple facilities — Canadian Valley Hospital, INTEGRIS Health Grove Hospital, INTEGRIS Health Ponca City Hospital, INTEGRIS Health Edmond Hospital, and INTEGRIS Health Enid Hospital — providing care teams across Oklahoma with the reliable, portable technology needed for safer labor and delivery experiences.

And at Enid Hospital, you funded something especially tender: the Butterfly Room Perinatal Bereavement Support initiative. The Caring Cradle creates a private, comforting space for families to grieve and find solace after pregnancy or infant loss, honoring every memory with the dignity and compassion it deserves.

Standing By Transplant Patients Every Step of the Way

Receiving an organ transplant is a miracle — but it is only the beginning of a patient's journey. Transplant recipients face a lifetime of expensive anti-rejection medications, careful monitoring, and ongoing medical needs that can quickly outpace financial resources.

This quarter, you ensured that financial barriers never prevented transplant patients from accessing the care essential to their survival. The Breath of Life Fund covered the high cost of post-transplant medications for lung transplant recipients, removing barriers and helping patients focus on healing rather than affordability. Transplant patient lodging assistance helped families stay close to loved ones during critical post-transplant procedures, easing the logistical and financial burden of care that often requires travel far from home.

Your support meant that the extraordinary gift of organ donation was never wasted because a patient couldn't afford what came next.

The Cancer Journey: Nourishment, Access, and Relief

Cancer treatment is physically exhausting, emotionally draining, and financially devastating — all at once. This quarter, your support for the INTEGRIS Health Cancer Institute addressed the full weight of that burden, going beyond treatment to care for the whole person.

Patient lodging assistance provided hotel stays for cancer patients traveling more than 50 miles to receive treatment, ensuring that distance never became a reason to delay or abandon care. CanServe meal support delivered nourishing, pre-prepared meals to patients beginning chemotherapy, helping them maintain the strength and resilience they need to endure treatment — and reminding them, in the most tangible way, that they are not alone. Medication assistance covered essential prescriptions not always included under standard cancer treatment coverage, helping patients stay on track with therapy and manage the side effects that can make treatment feel unbearable.

Every one of these investments recognized a simple truth: excellent oncology care requires more than clinical expertise. It requires making sure patients can actually get there, eat well, and afford what their doctors prescribe.

Breaking the Cycle: Addiction Recovery That Goes the Distance

Addiction is a disease that requires comprehensive medical treatment for lasting recovery — and too often, the cost of that treatment keeps people from ever receiving the help they need. This quarter, your support for INTEGRIS Health Arcadia Trails Center for Addiction Recovery made a profound difference.

Donor-funded patient assistance at both INTEGRIS Health Edmond Hospital and Arcadia Trails helped patients overcome financial barriers and complete the full course of inpatient addiction and behavioral health treatment. For many individuals battling substance use disorders, a 30-, 60-, or 90-day residential program is the only path to lasting sobriety — but it's impossible without financial support.

Your generosity gave those patients a real chance. You restored broken families, prevented overdose deaths, and proved that recovery is possible when people receive comprehensive, compassionate care.

Honoring Life's Final Chapter: Hospice and Grief Care

How we care for people in their final days reveals our deepest values. This quarter, your support ensured that no patient faced the end of life without comfort, dignity, and expert compassionate care — regardless of their ability to pay for hospice services.

The Hospice Non-Funded Care program at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center ensured comprehensive end-of-life care for patients whose insurance fell short of full coverage. Pain management, emotional support, spiritual counseling, and family assistance — all delivered with tenderness and respect, all made possible by your generosity. Memorial assistance provided financial support for cremation and memorial services, easing the practical burden on grieving families so they could focus on honoring those they loved.

Your hospice support transformed death from a medical event into a sacred passage — one met with the care and grace every person deserves.

Investing in Those Who Invest in Patients: Caregiver and Clinician Support

INTEGRIS Health's caregivers are its most essential resource. This quarter, you invested directly in the people who show up every day to care for Oklahoma's patients — funding the spaces, education, and financial safety nets that help caregivers thrive.

A new outdoor retreat space was created for caregivers in the cardiac tower at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center, offering a welcoming place to decompress, recharge, and return to the floor with renewed energy and presence. The Caregiver Emergency Relief fund provided quick financial assistance to caregivers facing unexpected personal hardships, ensuring that the people dedicated to caring for others had someone in their corner when they needed it most.

Educational investments this quarter were equally meaningful. The Brent and Marilyn LaGere Endowed Scholarship provided resources for caregivers advancing their careers in cardiology and cardiovascular surgery. Cardiac Rehab Scholarship Support expanded patient access to rehabilitation services. Continuing education funding for hospice leaders ensured that those guiding end-of-life care teams are equipped with the latest knowledge, skills, and best practices. And Nurse Leader Development funding strengthened leadership across the system, with benefits that ripple directly into the quality and coordination of patient care.

Beyond Hospital Walls: Community Health That Reaches Further

Excellent health care doesn't stop at the hospital door. This quarter, your generosity extended INTEGRIS Health's mission into schools, community programs, and the everyday lives of Oklahomans managing chronic conditions far from any clinical setting.

At Stanley Hupfeld Academy, your support provided essential classroom supplies, art materials, and dental care — removing barriers to learning and helping students engage fully in school. For children whose families navigate the daily complexity of illness and financial hardship, these resources can change the trajectory of a young life.

The Diabetes Day Camp Experience gave children living with Type 1 diabetes the chance to attend a safe, nurturing camp environment designed to foster confidence, independence, and friendship. For a child managing a complex chronic condition, an experience like this is more than a summer memory — it's a lesson in what's possible.

Removing the Barriers Between Patients and Care

Quality medical care means nothing if patients can't access it. This quarter, you addressed the practical barriers — transportation, medications, basic financial need — that too often keep Oklahomans from receiving the care their health depends on.

Patient assistance funds at INTEGRIS Health Enid Hospital and INTEGRIS Health Miami Hospital covered urgent needs, including meals, medications, and transportation, ensuring patients could focus on healing rather than logistics. Patient medication assistance at the system level helped individuals access essential prescriptions, removing financial barriers to timely, uninterrupted treatment. A freshened lobby at INTEGRIS Health Grove Hospital created a more welcoming entry point for patients and families — because the environment in which someone receives care shapes their experience from the very first moment.

And at Enid Hospital, Trauma Registry education funding helped trauma teams capture, analyze, and learn from cases — driving continuous improvements in emergency care quality and outcomes.

Gratitude and Continuing Partnership

As we reflect on this quarter's impact, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for your extraordinary generosity. Your $2,233,524 investment touched lives across every corner of Oklahoma — from the transplant patient who could finally afford their medications, to the family who found comfort in the Butterfly Room, to the addiction recovery patient who finally completed a full course of treatment, to the newborn whose mother had a private, dignified space to hold and nurse her baby for the very first time.

Each project funded this quarter reflected your commitment to health care excellence and your belief that every person deserves compassionate, comprehensive medical care. You invested in critical infrastructure and small comforts, in acute crisis response and long-term recovery, in the well-being of patients and the caregivers who serve them.

But beyond the numbers, your giving represented something deeply human: the recognition that we all share responsibility for one another's well-being. Your donations became moments of hope in hospital rooms, relief in times of crisis, dignity in life's final hours, and second chances for people who needed them most.

Thank you for your vision, your compassion, and your unwavering support. Thank you for making this quarter a time of healing, hope, and transformation for countless patients and families across Oklahoma. We look forward to continuing our partnership in the quarters ahead — working together to ensure that excellent, accessible health care remains available to all who need it.
